Class Descriptions

Ladies Fitness & Wellness offers a variety of cardiovascular, strength, training, and flexibility classes to women of all abilities and fitness levels.  Chooses a schedule that works for you from over 130 classes per month conveniently available between the hours 6:00am and 7:30pm.

All classes are included free of charge with a membership!

 

Group Fitness Classes & Descriptions

  • Athletic Training - Get in shape with sports specific moves.  Great for members who enjoy sport style training! (1 Hour)
  • Awesome Arms - This class is designed to target the arms and upper body.  Great for all levels. (45 Min)
  • Barre Fit - A mat and barre based class with some cardio and core toning as well.  Tone your whole body with classical ballet movements.  NO dance experience needed! (1 Hour)
  • Barre & Bounce - A great leaning class incorporating the Urban Rebounder trampolines and the ballet barre! Low impact. (1 Hour)
  • Boot Camp - An intense mix of athletic movements designed to challenge your body and mix up your routine using a variety of equipment. (1 Hour)
  • Butt & Gut - Designed to target the problem areas by focusing on the abdominals and glutes.  (45 Min)
  • Cardio Ball Interval- Use the stability ball for a series of cardio and resistance exercises. (1 Hour)
  • Cardio Box - A combination of aerobic and boxing technique. A stress relieving cardio workout! (1 Hour)
  • Cardio Line Dance- Enjoy your favorite line dances combined with cardio drills. (1 Hour)
  • Drums Alive- Drums Alive® combines the benefits of a traditional physical fitness program with the brain affected benefits of music and rhythm. Drums Alive® is a program that fosters a healthy balance physically, mentally, emotionally and socially!
  • FIRE- Fierce Interval Resistance Exercise. Timer based total body workout. Use free weights for compound, whole body movements with little rest between exercises to maximize calorie burn. (1 Hour)
  • High Intensity Interval Training- True Tabata workout designed to challenge you mind and body while building your cardio endurance! (1 Hour)
  • Hula Hoop FXP- Inspired by the proven methods of Barre, Pilates, and Yoga, there is so much more to the hoop than just swinging it around your hips. Do not underestimate the hula hoop! (1 Hour)
  • Kettlebell - A full body workout that will improve strength and stability using a kettlebell and natural momentum. (30 Min)
  • Length & Stregth- A strength/Yoga fusion class alternating barbell strength work with complimenting poses and flows. (1 Hour)
  • Pedal to the Metal- Spin bike intervals with off the bike weight training intervals. Come ready to work! (45 Min)
  • Pilates - Develop your core strength using the fundamentals principles of this discipline.  This class is excellent for strengthening torso, and increasing overall stability and flexibility. Mat based. (1 Hour)
  • Pilox- Both stemming from core work, combine Pilates and box for a unique and effective workout. (1 Hour)
  • PiYo- Combine the muscle sculpting, core benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of Yoga and then crank up the speed a bit to get a fat burning, low impact workout. Mat based. (1 Hour)
  • Pound- A full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn calories, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to your favorite music!
  • Rep & Step- A cardio step class that also incorporates strength training.  (1 Hour)
  • Sculpt - This class is designed to tone all major muscle groups using free weights, body bars, body bands, and your own body weight. (1 Hour)
  • Self Defense- Learn moves to protect yourself while also getting both an upper and lower body workout.  (1 Hour)
  • Short Circuit- A fast paced circuit style workout designed to work your entire body while keeping your heart rate up. (45 Min)
  • SH*IT- A hard hitting cardio class. Intervals of Spin and of the bike Tabata. (45 Min)
  • Spin - An intense non-impact workout that simulates an outdoor cycling race performed through various terrains and speeds.  Bike controls allow you to work at your own pace, great for all levels!  (1 Hour)
  • Spin Circuit- An intense cycling class with two off the bike intervals of varying formats. (1 Hour).
  • Stretch- Increase joint and muscle range of motion, increase post-exercise recovery time, and help reduce stress. (1 Hour)
  • Thriller- Full body seasonal workout based on Michael Jackson's Thriller dancing. Perfect for Halloween! (1 Hour)
  • Total Body Workout (TBW) - A combination of cardio and weight training in a variety of formats to provide you with a total body workout.  (1 Hour)
  • Yoga - The ultimate stretch and relaxation class.  Incorporates the missing components of most workouts, stretching and flexibility.  (1 Hour)
  • Zumba - One of our most popular classes and absolutely no dance experience required! Zumba combines high energy and motivating Latin, Hip Hop, and International music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance away their worries.   • Zumba Gold- All the benefits and fun of Zumba, just at a lower intensity! (1 Hour)
  • Zumba Step- Everything you love about Zumba incorporating the use of a Step to maximize cardio and challenge coordination. (1 Hour)
