Class Descriptions:
 
Classes are 45 minutes unless otherwise noted on calendar.  While our instructors give modifications in all our classes, we encourage you to ask if you have concerns about trying something new.
No sign ups necessary for group fitness classes- members just show up! 
All classes are included in the monthly membership fee. Classes include both live in studio and the streaming virtual library via Facebook.
Please bring your own mat, towel, and water.

 
15/15/15
Dealer's choice! Fifteen minutes of cardio, fifteen minutes of strength, fifteen minutes of recovery work. Formats will vary each class and equipment (if any) will vary each class. An example would be low impact aerobics, then pick up weights for upper body work, then down to the mat for active mobility work.
Awesome Arms
Upper body resistance work targeting arms, shoulders, chest, and back. Expect to use weights.
Bootcamp
Cardio and strength work with no choregraphy, just a lot of sweat. Equipment used can include steps, bands, slam balls, medicine balls, gliders, and much more. 
Butt & Gut
Glute and abdominal work. Equipment used can include weights, bands, and much more.
Core & Mix
We say core and we think abs, BUT core is all the way around the center of the body. We will get it all! Class is standing and on the mat and can include balls, light weights, bands, and much more.
Dance Xross Fitness
Cardio intervals that incorporate dance, kickboxing,  and strength training; combining new and old school music and movement.
Drums Alive
The original and only evidence-based drumming fitness that provides a “Whole Brain & Whole Body” workout which promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive health. Class uses drumsticks and large inflated balls.
FUNctional Barre
All the benefits of with none of the technical and formal stresses of ballet. Class is at the barre and/or on your own mat. Think small repetitive movements that strengthen and lengthen the entire body. 
High Intensity Interval Training
Ready to push yourself? Timed cardio rounds to push your heart rate for short bursts then allow for recovery. Formats can include traditional Tabata (20 seconds work with 10 seconds rest for four minutes), AMRAPs (as many rounds as possible), or EMOMs (every minute on the minute). Equipment varies and no two classes are the same.
Hula Hoop FXP
Guaranteed to amaze you how much more can be done than just the traditional hooping! A high energy, low impact flow inspired class fusing yoga and a weighted hula hoop. A mixture of strength and conditioning combined with a slow flow, this class will stretch, tighten, tone and inspire. 
Kettlebell
They aren't just for swinging! Kettlebells allow for a different type of weight distribution and you will feel the difference compared to traditional free weights. Class targets both cardio and resistance work and will work you head to toe.
No Jump Fat Burn
All the work with none of impact. Class uses a variety of equipment and includes both cardio and resistance work.
Pedal to the Metal
Working intervals between the spin bike and free weights off the bike. A good choice for a first time spinner.
Pilates
Traditional mat Pilates with a focus on control coming from your core. Expect a warmup then series of exercises that truly call on your inner strength. 
Pilates Fusion
Our mat Pilates class plus hints of Yoga and Barre- the best of all worlds.
PILOX
Pilates + Box = Pilox. Both formats call on strength from your core, so we put them together! Class requires sneakers and will get your heart rate up.
Power Yoga
Exploring the athletic side of Yoga, we work through a flow that includes conditioning, balance, and strength. No Yoga experience necessary.
Restore
All of the recovery work we know we should be doing combined into one class.  We will stretch, breathe, foam roll, strap stretch, and more. 
Sculpt
Resistance work for upper body, lower body, and your core using free weights.
Shi*t
Spin + HIIT = SHI*T. Alternating cardio rounds on the bike with traditional Tabata rounds off the bike.
Spin
Indoor cycling using a traditional spin bike and riding to the beat of the music. Class incorporates speed and resistance variations. Our bikes have pedal cages for sneakers, so no special shoes are necessary. As the bikes take setup to best fit your body, we do ask for a heads up before you attend your first cycle class.
Spin Interval
Alternating cardio rounds on the bike with a variety of cardio rounds off the bike.
Stretch
Our most popular class.  We combine balance, posture, stretching, and gentle movement to increase body awareness. Class is done on the mat and does not require any equipment.
Total Body Workout
Low impact aerobics combined with weight intervals so you get your upper body, lower body, abs, and cardio packed into one class.
Towel Pilates
Grab a hand towel and work your whole body. We bet you won't ever look at a towel the same. Class uses the towel to maintain form and engage the appropriate muscles.
Weightless Sculpt
Bodyweight only! We work on connecting with the target muscle and immediately feel the burn,
Zumba
Dance fitness, but so much fun you will forget you are working out. Each instructor has their own style ranging from salsa to hip hop and everything in between.

 
 
Small Group Descriptions:
 
Small groups are offered in addition to our group fitness classes. These are intended to compliment the group fitness classes. Small groups help you challenge yourself and succeed with accountability.
Advance sign up is required. Cost is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
Sessions are 45 minutes. We offer both virtual via Zoom and in studio groups.
Please bring your own mat, towel, and water.

Band Camp
We use a variety of resistance bands to target upper and lower body. 
Basic Ballet
No ballet experience necessary. Learn the basics of traditional ballet- both on and off the barre.
Booty Call
Targeting glute strength training.  We use heavy weights to load the glutes and work them in all directions.
Bosu
Exercises on the Bosu balance trainer to challenge balance, stability, and core strength.
Box Out
Jab, hook, cross, and uppercut your cardio. Group uses boxing gloves and pads for partner work. It's a challenge for both your mind and body.
Cardio Interval
Circuit style cardio based group. Stations can include the rebounder, elliptical, ball slams, steps, and much more. 
Corepole
Handled resistance bands extending from the Corepole base allow for a unique range of exercises for upper and lower body and especially your core. Group is done both on the floor and standing around the Corepole. 
Hip Hip Hooray
Stretch and strengthen the hips and areas surrounding them. We focus especially on mobility to help your hips function in the range of motion they were intended to.
Rebounder
Urban Rebounder classes are a dynamic and engaging workout that combines cardio and strength training elements using the trampoline. These classes are designed to be fun, low impact and effective for improving cardiovascular fitness, core strength, and overall balance. 
Pilates HIIT
Mat Pilates timed intervals that will keep you moving. 
Tank Top Arms
Upper body strength training with free weights. Group intended to help you realize the strength in your biceps, triceps, and shoulders.
TGIF
Group formerly known as Stretch & Meditate.  Intended to help us wind down from the week, we gently target a few muscle groups and stretches combined with guided meditation.
Weight for It
Ankle and/or wrist weights worn while we work through a series of exercises.
